One of our members is the Council on Legal Education Opportunity’s student of the month:

Seda Norodom is a CLEO Associate and third year law student at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She is a 3L class representative, a LEOP teaching assistant and Notetaker, a Khmer interpreter for the Hastings Civil Justice Clinic, and Diversity Chair for the Associated Students of UCH. Seda was also proudly the co-director of Diversity Outreach Day in the Fall of 2008. This successful event brought over 200 disadvantaged college students to Hastings to learn more about law school and how to apply. Upon graduation, she plans on applying to the U.S. State Department to work on foreign affairs.

“CLEO showed me that people believed in my potential when I was accepted into this program. It taught me how to reach out to students from diverse backgrounds and to let them know that they can and will be successful. Thank you, CLEO, for all the support.”
