On November 17th, 2016, K.AP.P.S. (a collaboration of KALSA‎, ‎APALSA‎, ‎PALS‎, ‎and SALSA) hosted the Bay Area Diversity Reception at UC Hastings.  K.AP.P.S was excited to host a panel of attorneys from around the Bay Area to discuss the diverse individual’s evolving identity within the workplace, learn about different legal practice areas, and connect with law students (UCH, GGU, SCU, UCB, & USF).  Panelists included: Eddie Ahn (Executive Director for Brightline Defense Project), Zarah Billio (Executive Director of the Council on American Islamic Relations – CAIR), Hogene Choi (Partner at Baker Botts, LLP), Kelly Matayoshi (Associate at Farella Braun and Martel), Janice Yoon (Director, Legal, and Corporate Counsel: Exponential Interactive), and former PALS President, Nelson Lam (Associate at DLA Piper).
